It's chaos and confusion at the Cottle's but we love it that way!

Sad time at the Cottle's
It's been a rough couple of weeks for us. We have been sick for over 3 weeks with coughs, fevers, runny noses, ear infections. We just can't seem to shake it. It's hard to sleep when someone is hacking up all night. Well last Sunday things got a little more complicated. Libby snuck up on grandma while she was trying to put a table leaf away and accidentally got her foot smashed. It instantly swelled up like a golf ball and turned black and blue. Since it was a Sunday we had to go to the insta care. She broke her metatarsal bone in her foot. We tried really hard the next several days to get the swelling down before her appointment with the orthopedic doctor. We found out today that she is going to be fine. Her fracture will heal nice and quickly (3-4 weeks). They wanted to put her in a walking boot but they didn't have one small enough to fit her so we just have to wrapped it to keep the swelling down and then have a good sturdy soled shoe on her. So that's good she doesn't have to have a cast on. So here's to better days to come.
Oh Whit that is just awful. They just seen WAY too little to have things like that happen. I swear as a mom, you just wear your heart on the outside of you sleave. Cast or not, she's darling! Hope she's better soon.
Seth and I got married in January of 2004. We have twin girls and having so much fun. I love not working and being able to spend time with my girls. But I feel bad for how much Seth has to work for me to be able to do so. Thanks honey!

Oh, poor little thing! I'm glad it will heal quickly. Can she walk on it?
I'm so sorry! Poor thing. Get well soon!
Linda- She did start walking on it last night. She has done pretty well.
Ouch! Poor Libby! How sad is that?! Your mom probably feels awful...I can't even imagine. Hope her foot feels better soon.
Oh so sad! Hope it heals so quickly and she can go right back to being mischevious.
